Responsible for technology development and product strategy. Dr Viswanathan has over 40 years of experience in R&D in Aerospace Engineering in the USA, and over 6 years in leading research and development in renewable energy technologies. He designed and developed the technology and process IP, leveraging CSP and hybrid renewable technologies and freshwater using thermal desalination.
He received his Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from IIT Madras and his Master's and PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He also served as a visiting faculty at IIT Madras.
