Al Tadawi Hospitals in Garhoud, Dubai incorporates a rooftop solar PV system designed to provide electricity from solar energy to partially meet the energy requirements of the building. The solar PV system is setup to be integrated based on DEWA net metering standards as defined by the SHAMS Dubai programme. The design and implementation of the project complies with the DEWA DRRG standards for Solar PV systems.
The key aspect of the project was to design the solar mounting structures to aesthetically blend with the architectural building design and to be compliant with all the structural standards set by the Dubai Municipality.
