150 kWp Sumip Project

Sumip Composites Pvt. Ltd. are leading manufacturers of Industrial Electrical & Fibreglass (FRP/GRP) products for last three decades. This is the 3rd Rooftop Solar PV project that Harsha Abakus Solar Private Limited (HASPL) has designed and commissioned for Sumip composite, who remain as one of our prestigious customers over the last 2 years. This is the 1st project in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment in Gujarat to install rooftop solar capacity above 100% of its Contract Demand. The project is installed under an Availability based tariff metering system, allowing able it to be able to sell the excess solar energy to state government. The plant provides approximately 1.5 million INR in cost saving in the first year and has projected saving of approximately 33 million INR over the next 25 years.

The plant was designed such that the modules were required to be installed along the curvature of roof without compromising the aesthetics of the building, while simultaneously optimizing the available installation area. The project uses Tier-1 Canadian Solar “High Power Dual cell PERC” module, 355 Wp.
